May 19, 2026

The tide went almost to negative two feet this morning and we saw some caves at Cape Lookout that we had never been to before.

We checked out some of the intertidal wildlife, too.

It was also our first time finding a seal pup on the beach.

New Home for our Tent Trailer

After a couple days working to clear out one side of the garage we were able to put our tent trailer in. The width is a very tight fit - only an inch or two clearance on either side.

A lot of beer tasting happened at Monkless Brewing today (January 25th - having some trouble uploading images).

Project complete!

Good progress today on the pantry floor, now I just need to attach the new baseboards to the wall and I can call it done.

Today’s project: prepping to replace the carpet in our pantry with laminated vinyl tile.

The plywood flooring was a little uneven and it was an opportunity to use my grandpa’s plane to smooth things out.
